Another fantastic season came to a close as players, families, coaches and volunteers gathered for Norristhorpe Junior FC Presentation Day 2026 at Warrenside Sports Complex.
Presentation Day is always one of the biggest dates in the club calendar, giving everyone the opportunity to celebrate the achievements, progress and dedication shown by every team throughout the season.
With sunshine, smiles and a brilliant atmosphere throughout the day, it was another memorable occasion for everyone involved with Norristhorpe Junior FC.
Celebrating Every Player
One of the highlights of the day was recognising every player for their hard work and commitment during the season.
From our youngest mini soccer teams taking their first steps in football to our older age groups completing another successful campaign, every player had the opportunity to step onto the stage and receive their well-earned trophies and medals.
Seeing so many proud players and families together perfectly demonstrated what grassroots football is all about.
Mini Soccer Championships and 5v5 Tournament
Away from the presentation stage, the football continued throughout the day.
This year’s event featured our exciting Mini Soccer 3v3 Championships, showcasing England Football’s new 3v3 format for young players that encourages more touches of the ball, greater involvement and, most importantly, plenty of enjoyment.
Alongside this, the 5v5 Tournament provided plenty of competitive football, fantastic teamwork and lots of memorable moments.
The pitches were full of energy all day as players enjoyed the opportunity to represent their teams in a fun and friendly environment.

His music helped create a brilliant atmosphere throughout the afternoon and has become a much-loved part of Presentation Day.
More Than Just Football
Presentation Day is about far more than trophies.
It is an opportunity for the entire Norristhorpe Junior FC family to come together, celebrate another successful season and recognise the incredible efforts of every player, coach, volunteer and parent.
The friendships built throughout the season are just as important as the football itself, and days like this remind us why grassroots football plays such an important role in our local community.
